App: Anonymous Chat: Stranger Connect (com.alphacue.strangerconnect)
Publisher: AlphaCue Technologies
Effective date: 2026-10-04
Contact: alphacuetechnologies@gmail.com

The short version: no real names, no phone number, no email, no contacts, no location tracking — you are a nickname and an anonymous account ID. Chats are ephemeral and deleted from our servers once both people close the chat (or within 24 hours if only one side closes). Shared images are retained for 90 days for moderation purposes, then automatically deleted, and are reviewed by our moderation team when reported. "Anonymous" means anonymous to other users — not beyond the law.

Shared images Delivery, and moderation review when reported 90 days, then automatic deletion (unless under legal/moderation hold — see below)

Basic device/technical data (app version, crash diagnostics) Keeping the service working Rolling, short-term

We do not collect: real names, phone numbers, email addresses, contact lists, precise location, or biometric data.

Analytics and crash reporting

We use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to keep the app working and to understand how it is used in aggregate — which screens are opened, how often chats are started, and the details of any crash (device model, OS version, app version, and the error itself). This is measured against a randomly generated app instance identifier. We do not record the contents of your chats, your images, or your nickname in analytics or crash reports.

Our website (anonymousconnect.online, including the browser version of the app) also counts visits with our own cookieless counter, so we know how many people visit and how they find us. For each page view it records the page, the referring website or campaign tag, your general region as indicated by your device's time zone, your device type, operating system, browser and language, and whether you clicked to start a chat or to get the Android app. To count unique visitors without tracking anyone, your IP address and browser type are combined with a random value that changes every day and turned into a one-way code; the IP address itself is never stored, the code cannot be linked across days, and it is deleted within two days. We keep only daily totals. The browser version of the app additionally uses Firebase Analytics as described above, which may use cookies or similar browser storage.

Advertising

The app shows ads supplied by Google AdMob, including full-screen ads between chats and an optional rewarded ad you choose to watch. To serve and measure those ads, AdMob accesses your device's advertising ID and standard device/network information. We do not send AdMob your nickname, your chats, your images, or anything else you share in the app, and we do not use the advertising ID ourselves for any purpose.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (on Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads). Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policies.

Image moderation

Images shared in chat are moderated reactively: they are delivered to the recipient on send, and are reviewed by our moderation team when a user reports them. Any user can report an image directly from the chat, and reports involving child safety are routed to a top-priority queue. Reported images are preserved as evidence and may be blocked, retained, and escalated to authorities (see below).

We do not currently apply automated scanning to every image before it is delivered. We intend to introduce automated pre-delivery screening for child sexual abuse material and explicit content, and this policy will be updated before that change takes effect.

The limits of anonymity

Your rights

Depending on your region (EU/UK GDPR, California CPRA, and equivalents), you may have rights to access, delete, or object to the processing of your data. Because accounts are anonymous, we generally cannot link an inbound email to a specific account — see Data Deletion for how to request deletion of your account and its data.

Children

This service is for adults 18+ only. We do not knowingly collect or process data belonging to anyone under 18; accounts discovered to belong to a minor are terminated and their data deleted. See our Child Safety Standards page for full detail on how we protect minors and respond to child-safety reports.

Where data lives

Data is processed on Google Firebase / Google Cloud Platform infrastructure (Realtime Database, Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions, primarily in the us-central1 / nam5 regions). Google acts as our data processor under its standard data-processing terms.

Changes to this policy

We will post changes to this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect.
